the mundane

hello fellow travelers,

many have remarked, after the high concentration on the july 2007 earth meditations (hathors creatrix july 8, fire the grid july 17) what a disappointment to return to the mundane world. yes, drivers still cut one off in traffic, false prophets abound, bills must be paid. still, i am inspired to believe there was a significant alteration in the hearts of many, aided by the light beings that assist us in our journey. since the july 8 mediation, my dream states have been deep, meaning i am more present, and i seem to be going back in time, questioning and healing past emotional affronts. and some dream images remain as perplexing as ever...whales falling from the skies and rolling down great hills. hmmmmmmm.

it continues to rain in texas, and with the added sun, feels much like a rain forest. the wild cats around the neighborhood slink slowly, the crate myrtles in brilliant bloom with pink and violet flowers.

Transformations All Around

hello fellow travellers,

first blog entry here, welcome to Austin Spiritus. i plan to focus on all things metaphysical, but also all things political, artistic and purely spontaneous may appear.

as some of you are aware, the fire the grid meditation took place on July 17, 2007. just a few quick observations/experiences during this transformative time:

1) austin had its first 'art blitz'- and eight sacred geometric shapes including crop circles, knots and labyrinths appeared thru out the town. lovingly but hastily put together, a baltic oval labyrinth glows ringed with christmas lights in the backyard of first spiritualist church in austin (4200 ave d) . should be up for a seven days or so.

2) a small owl, perhaps a screech owl, flew to a branch when i was taking out the garbage. awed and humbled by such a meeting, i stood still, gazing at the creature until it took flight. i hear an owl often in this many treed but populated urban neighborhood, but never have i been graced with such a close presence.

3) a few hours ago, i unfolded and set out a tarp painted with the yin/yang crop circle in my backyard, between rain showers. as i was folding it back up, a small ivory birds egg, cracked fresh from a birth, fell onto the tarp.

the sacred mystery of life just keep rollin' on.
