Random Prayer: Beauty and Pain

From the Eon Workbook, Lesson 26, Beauty and Pain

Repeat this affirmation upon rising next Tuesday:

Today and for all days to follow in this life, I will consider beauty and pain as equal partners in the creation of the world I see around me. At all times I will see both beauty and pain, until I decide to rise above the pain and live in only beauty. At all times I will see both my divinity and my humanity, until I decide to live in divinity.

Random Prayer for Intuitives

It's important for each intuitive, medium and healer to stay as clear and distant from our ego/mind as we can get. To be open to the Divine energies and keep our judgments and human perspective out of the picture can be a challenge. To that end, I've morphed the following prayer from several sources and a short meditation, to serve as a clearing house before giving Spirit messages to others:

Universal Spirit,
May all messages come now in the form of a blessing. May each communication be free from pretense and agenda, and for the highest good of all. Cleanse us of fear and doubt. We thank you for the Divine Light and Guidance.

November Musings

Most mornings I take a walk either around Hyde Park, or my preference, a short drive then walk around the newly created Mueller Lake Park. The site of the former Austin airport, the park sports good, winding walking trails, grass mowed down to a 1/4 inch of its life, large blocks of what seems to be a sturdy sandstone leading down to the lake. It's been a joy to see the pond/lake begun to fill with little ducks, and the two prize snow white geese...or ducks...are sweet to watch. Lately, the neon green wild parrots have begun to show up, can't miss them for their enthusiastic yappying, and it seems like they've found an urban paradise.

The crowning feature tho, is the fountian. Running constantly, steadily shooting a curve of recycled water into the peach morning sky, its thing I see as I drive towards my destination. A few days ago, I saw the subtle but unmistakable reflection of a rainbow in the waters' spout. As you've probably noticed, the hues of the rainbow shift and merge into one another, and between the colors, one can discern a glow, milky, then clear, but always radiant. This hue represents the etheric...the substance that keeps all together...spirit.

Rainbows are indeed special and fleeing things, a joy to behold. My first sight of an entire rainbow...the beginning, the arc, and the end, occurred at sunset at Nauset Beach on Cape Cod about a decade ago. It must have spanned at least 40 miles, taking up a good portion of the horizon. I was alone on the beach this late fall day, and realized the witnessing of this spectacular sight was a rite...a mark of passage. If, I thought, I was in an accident and left the earth plane soon, I would have felt satisfied, that a segment of my life and needed work had been completed. The thought itself shocked me...satisfied? Completed?

Of course, I've lived a full decade beyond that moment, creating a life, with memories and lessons I'm entirely grateful to have experienced. And there will be more...unless there isn't. But for today, to have an almost guaranteed rainbow show up in the fountain at the park (yes, depending upon the sun/time of day/etc), well, its a blessing in an urban paradise.

Falling Stars and an Anniversary

Hello Fellow Travelers~

The Perseid Meteor Showers are most active 8/8 thru 8/12, and altho the Texas night sky was obscured by the waning moon, I was able to watch a few meteors streaking thru the heavens from my Austin porch.

My heart still leaps at the sight of a falling star...maybe I'm responding to its brilliance before passing into another form of energy. Along those lines, I'm constantly delving into the glory/wonder of human death, which contains elements as vast of the universe itself.

My father passed 11 years ago on August 11. I was 1000 miles away and traveling as he left his body, yet that evening, looking deep into the Wisconsin night sky, I heard his voice. His energy felt lighter, and more settled then I'd known him to be on earth. Part of his message was that he was able to "understand" me as a complex/simple soul. What a wonderful thing, to be understood. That's one of gifts those souls, angels, elements, devas, etc can relay to the often blindsided on earth: full acceptance. So to you Albert, love from your daughter still on earth. I'm aware of the times you've helped me navigate thru the dangers and joys of the planet, and I'm grateful. Glory to the Divine.

Random Prayer #3

Divine All,

The glory of earth and her elements is evident today. At this time, we consciously choose to move thru our lives with grace and kindness, blessing all, and knowing we will receive the same. We actively engage our heart centers to heal and be healed. We honor our intuition, committing ourselves to expanding the knowledge of our souls, and the souls in spirit, knowing we are indeed one.

We choose to be creators, rather then victims, warriors of peace, rather then war, bearers of hope, not fear. We acknowledge the darkness, but choose light instead. We hold compassion for those that are devoid of love. We administer to those in need and those passing, knowing that the life of the soul is eternal. And for this, we are grateful.

Random Prayer #2

This message from the Holy Mother, channeled via Paul Throne in about 2005, and has occupied a space on my desk for about a year. It always gives me an energy/love boost, and I'd like to share it with you.

You are blessed with spiritual power, and although you do not use this power fully, and many do not use it at all, it is still within you, and it is yours to make of yourselves and your world more beautiful expressions of God's creation.

You may believe what you wish to believe about yourselves. Therefore, I encourage you to believe the best, for your beliefs do change you you and do create you anew every day and in every moment. See yourself as I see you, and you will begin to see others as I see them also.

Random Prayer #1

I, maybe like you, receive prayers from time to time,so I've decided to post the prayers as they occur(or shortly thereafter).

I ask that Divinity hold me lovingly in the palm of the Universe. I extend, and accept blessing to all, and stand well-protected and cherished.
